RINGING IN THE NEW YEAR!

Ladies! Ladies! Ladies!  What are you wearing for your New Year's Eve bash?  Here's some ideas if you haven't already found "The Fit".

Wanna be fancy huh?

SPLURGE

DRESSES

You can find some pretty affordable dresses online, if you have the time.  I found some really great pieces, at Necessary Clothing and Urban Outfitters.

STEAL

You don't have to spend an arm and a leg on some shoes for one night, depending on how "all out" you wanna go.  You can mos def splurge on some YSL's and Dolce & Gabbana like the one's above, up to you.  Otherwise, you can find a huge variety of heels on heels.com at any price range.

Don't forget, you can make anything glam, from anything simply stated with accessories.  So don't feel like you have to spend a lot of money to make a fit look good.  I got my Christmas party dress at Necessary Clothing and spiced it up a little bit with accessories, it kicked the whole look up a notch.

These awesome clutches are great, depending on your style and personality, you can pretty much rock these all day everyday.  I would.  You can find these on Polyvore.com and Nastygal.com.

HAIR

Don't know what to do with your hair and make up?!?! Depending on your dress, fit and/ or look, go all out!  Here's some of my fave looks…

If you have a stand out dress/ fit, go with something…

SIMPLY STATED

If your fit is simply stated, then go for a little more drama in your locks…

MAKE A STATEMENT

Braids are super hot right now and they're getting hotter as we ring in the New Year.  So live on the edge a little bit and try a style with some kick to it.

These looks above are great because they're easy style's that make a big punch of a statement.  Elegance and style doesn't always require a glam squad, education and resources are key.

Depending on the look and/or theme your going for as far as your hair and outfit, make up should follow suit - or vice versa.  Anyway, it's the New Year so that always, usually means glitter and sparkle - now how much and how little is definitely a personal preference.  Here's some great looks I found on my Pinterest.

The two best glam looks I absolutely love,  the dark lip old hollywood look - which Camilla Belle is very stunning in this look.  The shimmery, smokey eye is always a good all round pick.

I usually don't have time for this, but really try to dress up your nails ladies.  It really does polish and pull the whole look together.  Here's some festive inspiration…

NAIL ART

While your gettin' fresh, ring in the New Year and play some of your fave hits from 2013!

MY TOP 3

JAY-Z: TOM FORD

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE: SUIT AND TIE

ROBIN THICKE: BLURRED LINES

You always need a soundtrack in your life, that way when you hear certain songs, it brings you back to "remember when…".  When I listen to these songs, after the New Year, I'll remember the great parties, the rides on the Light Rail on my way to work, walking around Downtown Seattle, etc.  These songs are a part of the soundtrack to my life in 2013.  What are yours???

I didn't think my blog would be this long and so to the point, I guess my OCD kicked in…

HAVE FUN! BE SAFE! MAKE GOOD/SMART CHOICES AS THE END OF THE YEAR APPROACHES…

XOXO
