LOOK OF THE DAY

Here's my Look Of The Day from the Skaist Taylor show from NYFW S/S 2013:

I assisted Kien, from Oribe, at NYFW S/S 2013 in September and we did this awesome look for Skaist Taylor.  We took 1inch hair sections and weaved the hair through large/jumbo hair pins, creating a figure eight pattern.  After the hair is wrapped, twine the ends of the hair pin together locking the hair in place so it does not unravel.  Press and set each section with a flat iron for about 5 seconds, then let cool.  Once you have done each section let the hair set and cool down.  Unravel the hair taking the hair pins out, brush out with a Mason Pearson and style as desired.  Finish this look with Oribe's Dry Texture Hair Spray for extra volume and texture.
