NYFW

I am happy to report that my second round backstage at NYFW was shorter but no less inspiring than the first.

Working with Oribe's celebrity hair stylist, Ramona Eschbach, was fabulous as usual and this time we had the opportunity to create the looks of Calla and Jeremy Laing.

Sugar and flowers was the feel for Calla's fall/winter line as it was filled with floral patterns and soft pastels. The hair was simple and understated with a sleek and clean finish. Here are a few sneak peeks backstage from her presentation:

Now, Jeremy Laing was the exact opposite: strong, modern and geometric. However, the hair theme was similar: simple and understated. He wanted the hair to look as though the model had thrown on her jacket in a way that her locks were tucked in.

All in all, the trip was a success and I left reluctantly but inspired nonetheless. See you in six months, New York! Hopefully sooner.

XOXO,
Nanealani
